This opener uses both PoM and Assize under raid buffs, Assize is weaved under PoM which can cause clipping even at moderate ping, in most cases this will not be an issue.

This opener uses swiftcast to double weave Assize and PoM under raid buffs and has less risk of clipping, but will leave you without swiftcast in the first minute of the fight.

PoM and Assize are held until 3rd/4th GCD to maximize damage under raid buffs, however they can be used earlier if you end up losing a cast or can get better alignment with add phases, etc.

As of 6.1 lilies are damage-neutral on single target as Misery is 1240p and takes 4 GCDs, 4 Glare IIIs is 1240p. Thus, you should typically avoid capping lilies even in full uptime and prioritize using them for healing and movement where necessary. Lilies should be used in downtime whenever possible as they are free potency gains. If misery can be used to cleave any additional targets, then lilies become a substantial damage gain.

Your dungeon priority isn't terribly different from your typical damage priority, in general you'll Regen and Benison to keep the tank healthy while gathering mobs, Dia on multiple mobs while running, drop Asylum where tank will be stopping, and Holy III once the tank has stopped. Holy III still has a full 2.5s cast so weaving additional mitigation and healing is typically done via Solace or Regen once the tank starts taking damage. Lilies should be used between packs as often as possible to maximize and casts on larger pulls.

In general this will boil down to choosing max item level gear with sufficient piety while maximizing crit, melding crit wherever possible, then filling with DH/Det melds. Piety melds can be useful in a pinch if you end up too low on MP. Spellspeed melds are a bit more complicated since GCD tiers are much larger than other stats, but hitting a GCD efficiently is typically more valuable than DH/Det. In other words, don't blindly meld SpS unless you know what you are doing.

Piety is a binary stat, as any more than you needed to not run out of mp was wasted stats. Because of this, when choosing our substats, avoiding excess Piety is the best way for us to increase our damage, and you'll sometimes see our low piety sets use lower ilvl equipment to avoid Piety (this is still the exception rather than the rule, don't actively use lower ilvl items to dodge Piety without calculating out the gain yourself). It's hard to predict exactly how much Piety you might need in most settings, but you can take a look at how much the recommended sets take in each setting and decide which one fits you best. Remember that slower GCD tiers use significantly less mana (1 less Glare per minute is 400 mp saved per minute) and can thus get away with less Piety. If you find yourself struggling with mp, ensure that you're effectively using your mp tools before adding more Piety. Swapping GCD heals for OGCD heals, using Assize and Lucid Dreaming on CD, using Thin Air on GCD heals or Raises: these are all effective ways to make your mp go farther. Also make sure to always carry Super-Ethers when raiding, they are a very effective way to recover from multiple rezzes or a death. (ty Tonto) The lily changes in 6.1 drastically improved our MP economy, so we require far less piety than we used to.

Det was buffed slightly in 6.0 which brings it close to DHit but not quite to the point where its a better damage stat for healers since we have 0 dhit baseline. The healing boost from det is unlikely to save a gcd heal or someone's life, so BiS sets will mostly meld dhit over det where possible. That said, since the damage difference is so small now you won't lose much melding det over dhit, especially for prog.

This set has plenty of piety to handle extra deaths and raises and is always a good option, though it lacks some of the damage of the sets below.

This set has a bit more damage and less piety than the mid-piety set, but still has some piety for additional raises or GCD heals.

These sets all have 0 additional piety and should only be used in more organized settings. These sets are all nearly identical in damage and you should pick one based on your preferred GCD. The 2.42 set has the highest DHit and should be your best bet for crit farming. 2.40 is identical to SCH BiS at essentially 0 damage loss. 2.34 has a faster GCD and potentially the lowest natural PoM drift of any of the sets.

Etro links have the food for the set listed at the bottom, but most sets use Garlean Pizza while a couple slow sets use Carrot Pudding. Use pudding if you're unsure what to take or have transitional gear. Tincture of Mind Grade 7 is the best current potion, but keep some Super-Ether's handy for prog.

This set is identical to the 6.2 Mid-Piety Set but swaps most of the DH melds to Det.

This set swaps tome gloves for raid gloves for a bit more piety and a bit slower GCD.

This is a higher damage set mostly aimed at people running the 611 P7 strategy or for reclears. This set should be avoided if you are progging and using a 233 P& strat.

This is a higher piety set aimed for people progging for the first time especially if you are running the 233 P7 strat which requires substantially more GCD healing. This set also gives more wiggle room for raises. You can addd or remove piety melds as you progress, or look to one of the higher damage sets.

- Synced Gear: 595+ synced gear caps both substats - Relic Stats: 184 crit/pie, 100 det for relic.

- Synced Gear: 500+ gear caps both substats. - Relic Stats: 136 crit/det/sps, 60 piety.

- Synced Gear: 470+ gear caps both substats. - Relic Stats: 127 crit/det/sps, 87 piety.

Ground-target abilities like Asylum and Lilybell are notoriously annoying to place without clipping and are one of the few cases where macros can be a viable solution (though still liable to clip since they still cannot queue). You should still have non-macro versions of the keybinds on your bar in the event you need to place these abilities on something you cannot target. Another solution for this issue was added in 6.0 and allows you to press your keybind twice to instantly place your ground-targetted ability. This setting can be enabled under Chacter Config -> Target -> "Press Action Twice to Execute"
