✦ 「 SCH Openers 」 ✦
Remember that the exact ability usage in these openers is not strict. If you need to use a heal in the opener or hold an AF stack for later healing do so. This is the ability usage you'd do on a dummy, but not every fight allows for it.
Level 90 Openers:
The Swift Opener is better for personal dps if done correctly, not necessarily better for rdps. If you wanna hold Diss just drop it and the 3 EDs after it from the opener. As always, feel free to hold AF stacks for healing if they'll be needed.
No Swift Opener: 5 EDs in Chain, easy to execute

Swift Opener: 6 EDs in Chain if done properly, requires a bit of Spell Speed (2.43 GCD should be plenty). The ED directly after chain cannot be used until the chain debuff actually applies to the enemy, or else it won't get the crit buff. Don't do this opener if you're not going to be trying for all 6 EDs

✦ 「 SCH BiS & Gear Options 」 ✦
6.2 Savage Gear Sets
Note: These sets are listed in order of dps/mp economy (with the exception of alternatives). Lowest avg dps/best mp economy at the top, highest avg dps/worst mp economy at the bottom.
2.50 Hi Pi Set https://etro.gg/gearset/5e124e66-7cd7-470a-95d8-f71f60811c0f
Lots of extra mp for those who don't care to try to optimize. 2.50 gives perfect Chain and Bio alignment. A good set to have around for the upcoming ultimate in 6.3.
2.40 Mid Pi Set https://etro.gg/gearset/03f4b5a3-e9ab-434b-8cc2-b358546fcb60
This set is a good all around choice for those who need to deal with unoptimized environments such as Party Finder. 2.40 gives it good Chain alignment, but poor Bio alignment.
2.40 Lo Pi Set (BE CAREFUL USING IN UNOPTIMZED ENVIRONMENTS) https://etro.gg/gearset/bb015772-1160-41a5-aa62-7e92d3998bbf
A very solid set only a bit behind the true BiS sets. Has a bit of extra mp economy to make reclears a bit comfier. 2.40 gives perfect Chain alignment, but poor Bio alignment. (edited)
ULTIMATE SETS
6.3 TOP Prog Sets
Note: These sets have Det melded, but you can easily meld DH as well. DH is ahead in damage by a minimal amount, but a Det melded set provides ~2-3% more healing. Choose whatever sounds better to you
2.47 Mid Pi Set http://bit.ly/3j6HRDn
A very good amount of piety for prog and a slow GCD to help conserve mp. Terrible GCD for alignment but ults have so much downtime that it's usually not an issue.
2.40 Mid Pi Set https://bit.ly/3XYP6fs
This set makes it much smoother to slidecast during pantokrator. Still has a good amount of piety. If you wanna drop some piety you can swap out either earring or gloves, but be very careful doing so as later phases could have harsher mp requirements.
6.3 DSR Sets
The piety requirements vary depending on your p7 strat for akh morns. 332 requires more GCD healing while 611 is laxer.
Note: a synced 615 relic will be equivalent to a crit melded Asphodelos codex +9 extra crit. Feel free to use either the 615 relic or Aspho codex in these sets. The DSR codex remains BiS for DSR.
332 set https://bit.ly/3XYpTld
A very good amount of piety for prog and a slow GCD to help conserve mp. Suggested if you're currently progging the fight
611 set http://bit.ly/3kRfrNW
If you use this set with 332 or you're unsure how to properly manage your mana you will oom. Suggested if you want to optimize after clearing
TEA, UWU, and UCOB gear
For these fights, the easiest thing to do is just to use the synced gear. You can use !faq ultimatesync
to see the ilvl requirements to max both substats with synced gear in each fight. Note that even 580 and 590 gear will work fine in TEA even if it doesn't fully cap the lower substat. If you have the ShB relic weapon it's BiS in all 3 of these fights. Stat caps for it can also be found in !faq ultimatesync
. (edited)
✦ 「 Stat Priorities 」 ✦
Please read the section on managing Piety below as well.
Level 90 Stat Priority: Crit>DH>=Det for pre-BiS melding. Consider melding Det over DH for prog, as the damage benefits are basically equal on average. Meld SpS to a comfy tier if you wish, low priority during prog.

How to show your fairy nameplate in battle:
A. Character config > Control Settings > "Target" tab > Under "Target Settings", Uncheck "Disable targetting of pets and minions when in battle."
B. Character config > Display Name Settings > "Own" tab > Under "Pets" set "Display Name Settings" to "Always" or "During Battle"
Both options must be set this way or your fairy nameplate will be hidden.

Placing your Fairy
It's important to note that Placing your fairy DOES NOT require a weave slot and thus can be done while casting another ability without causing any sort of clipping. For the same reason, macroing Place does not have any of the drawbacks that most combat macros will incur, and many SCHs will use a macro for Place. Several different macros can be useful, but the following is a good general usage one.
This macro will allow you to Place and Heel with the same button. It works by setting your fairy to Heel and then bringing up the Place targeting reticle. Simply cancel the Place targeting to keep her on Heel.
/merror off
/pac Heel
/pac Place
/micon "Place" pet

Endwalker FAQ
Do shields apply faster now?
Yes, shields now begin applying during the slidecast window instead of waiting for the healing to go out. They'll consistently be applied before the cast itself finishes. This means it's possible to use Deployment Tactics immediately after Adlo now without it ghosting. Remember that this will still cause you to clip your next GCD if done during uptime, Adlo's cast is still too long to allow a full weave window.
Is the fairy more responsive now?
Yes, they've sped up her response time and how fast she applies her effects/heals. There will still be some delay when double weaving fairy commands, so be aware of that, but we'll generally be trying to single weave now anyways due to the reduced Broil cast time.
Is pet potency still a thing for SCH?
Yes unfortunately, though it's significantly better now. In solo play the fairy's potency is worth ~0.93x player potency, in a party with the full 5% role bonus it's worth ~0.89x player potency.
Should I still be using Ruin II ? If so, when?
Now that we have free weaves with Broil, we want to avoid using Ruin II whenever possible. You should be slidecasting using Broil to get to where you need to be, and single weaving oGCDs after Broil. You can still use natural Bio refreshes to double weave and move longer distances, and Swiftcast can be used to move longer distances in a pinch. If you find yourself badly out of position, or a mechanic simply isn't able to be dealt with using these methods, you can use Ruin II for the movement rather than just dropping cast. You can also use Ruin II if you absolutely need to get out 2 oGCDs right away, this can usually be avoided on future pulls with better planning. (edited)
