: Is there an actual channel for Blue Mage talk in the Balance?
: There is! Hop on over to #role_selection_others to grab the role with a reaction. You should be able to view #blue_mage after doing so. If the role bot won't work, feel free to ping or DM myself or another Moderator.
: Is there a non-spreadsheet version of the opener?
: There sure is. Keep in mind that this is dependent on the fight. Some might have windows where Moon Fluting can be fatal if you do it. Play smart and adapt to your circumstances. A fancy image version may or may not be forthcoming soon™️. Abilities in parenthesis are meant to be weaved between GCDs.

: What are the requirements for learning a spell when on Blue Mage?
: A few caveats exist. The following breakdown from Rosaire in the #blue_mage channel sums them up nicely:
⬥ You must be in combat with the enemy
⬥ The enemy must cast the spell. The cast must complete
⬥ The enemy must be defeated, and you can't be dead when the enemy dies
⬥ If in level-synced content, you are 100% guaranteed to learn the spell if these conditions are met
⬥ In the overworld or carnivale, or if you're unsynced, chance to learn is RNG based on the spell's 
rarity
⬥ Note that level syncing must be manually enabled for undersized parties, even if you're already at the same level as the content
: What does it mean that Blue Mage is a limited job?
: Blue Mage cannot reach the current level cap, and thus it can't partake in whatever the current raid tier is. In addition, Blue Mage cannot queue for duties in Duty Finder, unless in a full pre-made group, and cannot queue for PvP. That said, there are titles and rewards, such as mounts, for those who want to tackle past Savage-difficulty fights with eight Blue Mages!
